Does anybody have any helpful comments on where I might find out more about
a tannery operated in Cumberland in about the 1840's -1880's? My
great-great grandfather William A. Withers and his father, Addison L.
Withers, operated the tannery. Any helpful comments would be appreciated.
I'm in Charlotte, NC and will probably come to Cumberland sometime this year
to poke around some more.
