Merry Christmas LIST!!
Speaking of Shaw--I have two questions concerning Rev. William Shaw.
1) I thought I saw copies of his Order Book for sale, but lost my note (as
well as my head *grin* ) and I can't find where I found it in the first
place (convulted sentence, sorry!) Does anyone have ideas?
2) I was informed that there were very few marriage bonds filed at the
courthouse for Rev. Shaw marriages. How true is that? My ancestors were
married 1799 in Allegany Co (I know this because of the WONDERFUL archives
here on rootsweb-thank you!!) I would really like a copy of the bond if
available, but have hesitated to ask someone to go to the courthouse on a
wild goose chase.
Any opinions or ideas are greatly appreciated! Missie

Who was the person that was looking for Shaw's? Maybe I can help you.
