Telling or not telling is always a question. Personally I'm for the truth even if it's not what you would have it be. My Mom and I had this discussion many times. For instance in researching WV births I found a child recorded as born to my grandparents before they were married and were both teenagers. Mom insisted they could not possibly be her parents. I looked through all families to see if I could find a child with that birth date. Couldn't find one. Perhaps it died or went to someone outside the family. As much as my mother cared about her family I do not see how she could reject even the idea of this child. Pat
