Looking for information on the Batson LEONARD listed on the 1850 Anne Arundel County census. My gg grandfather was also a Batson LEONARD, but was born about 1824 in NC (according to census records). The uniqueness in the name Batson suggests more than coincidence. Hoping to find some connection. I will be happy to share what information I have. Thanks for your help.
