Apparently,I am not as stupid as I thought; I'm just "Google-impaired".
I followed everyone's instructions.
I ould never find any options under the title that read:
"Download pdf or
View plain text."
I only had (and only still have for this title) the options:
"Buy this Book or
Borrow this Book."
AND the only TAB I have at the top is: "About this Book"
So, I thought I had a failure of some sort here and did a bit more work.
With SOME booksm I get all these options.
I DO NOT get them with this book.
Even if I do an advanced search for full view booksm I am told that this one is NOT a full view book.
And sorry, Walt, but "get[ting] it on Ancestry.com" is really only an option for those who can afford Ancestry's increasingly outrageous prices. I can't.

But, many thanks again to everyone who tried to help.
Anyone have a contact telephone number for Google that gets through to a person?
