Good ideas all. One word more, however, on New Cathedral and the church of burial. The parish right outside the cemetery is ST. Joseph Monastery. My grandfather was buried from there and there was no family connection to that parish. Although he died in the Federal Hill (South Baltimore) area, the family had been living in Virginia. so either St. Joseph's was chosen for its proximity to the cemetery, or because the family was not registered at the South Baltimore parishes.
