Mount Washington is in northern Baltimore and was developed just before and after the civil war. There is a locally available book on the history of Mt Washington. Although I do not own a copy it is available at the Maryland Room of our downtown Enoch Pratt Library. We have a telephone reference service which answers questions up until 11p.m. (its called Night Owl reference service) I would call them for a look-up at 410-396-3557 or 1-800-325-6483.

This reference services provides information to the entire state of Maryland - but they employees work our of Enoch Pratt downtown, Baltimore.

Wish I could be more helpful. I live in Mount Washington and enjoy the history. If you have come upon an address for your ancestor - please send me an email and I will photograph it for you.
