Each block and the cross streets should be in the actual city directory - contact Enoch Pratt for a lookup (see numerous posting for info). 1860 house numbers were all renamed to today's #s after 1860. Web site references to Columbia locate it on the westside of commercial downtown "between Eutaw and Paca" and also " N of Wilk" .
The site http://www.btco.net/ghosts/streets/thennow/names.html gives the info that Columbia is now Washington Blvd.
Nothing on May St, but the info sould be in the directory, even in microfilm version.
