I am seeking any information regarding the desendents of Peter Geraghty of Baltimore City. Peter was listed as a sea captian and is first listed in the 1820 census and the 1827 city directory. Peter was married to Mary Despeaux at Baltimore in 1817. He apparently died some time prior to 1850. His widow and several children continued to reside on Block street until late in the the century. in 1900 his son was residing at 232 Chester Street. In 1920 his grandchildren included Henry Gerahty, residing at at 1611 Milton Avenue and Francis Gerahty at 2910 Pratt Street and Charles W residing at 1635 Milton Ave. Please let me know if you are related. I am attempting to locate Peters connections in Ireland.
