Hi!
I am seaching for ancestors and relatives of my
gggrandfather John Wesley SHANKLIN (1805-1883) married
to Mary Anne BURTON (1803-1897).

John W.'s parents were Robert SHANKLIN and Elizabeth
BOSLEY.
Mary Anne's parents were William BURTON and Mary
FOWLER.

John and Mary Anne SHANKLIN'S children were:

Robert- died in infancy
John W. Jr.- b.1835
Arthur Washington- 1840-1919 was Treasurer of
Baltimore Co.at one point
William Jefferson- b. 1843
David- died in infancy

If anyone is researching this family or others
mentioned, please feel free to contact me. Does anyone
know who the original immigrant was and where they
came from? Thanks. Peggy
