Hi, my name is Tammy Irwin, I am searching the Rock family tree... I have hit a brick wall with the following people.. These are my gr.gr.grandparents Herny and Betty Rock from Hagerstown Maryland... I know of one son Charles H.Rock, he is my gr.grandfather.... This is all the information I have about these three wonderful people... In the year 1876, there was a train wreck in or around Maryland which took the lives of Herny and Betty Rock... My gr.gr.grandparents... Which this would of made my gr.grandfather Charles H.Rock ten yrs.old, at the time of his parents death... No one knows if he had any brothers or sisters in the family or not.... No one knows who took care of him after the death of his parents... No one knows his mother's maiden name... Probably after gr.grandpa Charles H.Rock turned 21, he left Maryland... This is the rest of the story as follows;;;; Charles H.Rock left Maryland and went to Johnstown, Penna. to work in a flood, after the work was finish there!
he found his way to Fayette County, Penna.. where he met and married Charlotte A.Rimel.... They had the following children... Florence A.Rock Daughtery, Laura Belle Rock Wells, Viola May Rock Nutt, Hazel L.Rock Sowden, Charles H.Rock Jr.(Pete), William Rock, James Rock... One more thing when my grandmother died my mom was only 13 yrs.old, she lost contact with the Rock Family....
