Linda - I believe your Richard A. Breeden is the son of Richard P. Breeden (b. about 1796) and wife Ann (last name not presently known, possibly Parran). In 1850, Richard and Ann Breeden were living near St. Leonard's Creek. My great grandfather Anthony Tall was their immediate neighbor. At that time, the Breeden children at home were: John W. Breeden (29Nov1823-9Jul1911); James B. Breeden (1825-?);Richard A. Breeden (12Mar1829-8Apr1917); William N. Breeden (1827-?); Evert F. Breeden (1831/2-?); Joseph H. Breeden (1834-?); Benjamin T. Breeden (1839-1885) and Isabella Breeden (1830-), Richard A. Breeden's wife was Elizabeth, your Betty, last name not known. She was born in 1840 and died 22Apr1891. Richard and Elizabeth are both buried at Middleham Chapel in Lusby. Benjamin T. Breeden and his wife Ann Bafford are also there. I think there are about 20 Breeden gaves at the chapel. Not certain but suspect Joseph H. Breeden was married to my gggaunt Catherine Grover. My ggggr!
andfather Thomas R. Grover was married to Elizabeth S. Breeden, possibly Richard P. Breeden's sister. Anyway, they are all from St. Leonard's Creek except for the ones that went to Tennessee. Hope this helps. Bob.
