Hello!

I am new on this list and I have a question regarding Denton, MD. My cousin
is in the process of going through family belongings after the death of her
father. She has found a number of letters and pictures written by her
parents and their siblings during WWII and relating to their experiences
both in the military and at home. She would like to preserve them for
future generations, but does not want to be the ‘holder’ of the letters.

Is there a historical society in Denton? If so, would they have an interest
in letters such as this? How do you contact them? She would like to store
pictures of the persons involved in the letters with the actual letters so
that anyone with interest in the future will have the face to go with the
information.

Oh how I wish the people I am searching for had left something behind like
that for me to find!!!
