Hi Shirley,

According to what little I have found on the Warren family (no sources) in
Tillman's book. Solomon Warren was married first to "Miss Blane" and had a
son Solomon. I found a Solomon Warren on the 1850 census in Indiana who had
been born in DE ca 1797. The Warren's in Caroline Co., MD lived very near
the MD/DE line so it is very possibly that Tilghman's first wife was from DE
and that the Solomon in Indiana in 1850 is their son.

Concerning the Sangston family, I haven't done any real research on them. I
do know that they first settled in Talbot Co., MD and spread out from there.
There is supposed to be a chart on the Sangston's at the Historical Society
in Baltimore, MD. Most of the Sangston's were quite well off.

Rhoda (Stevens) Warren's sister, Mary b. 8 Sep. 1775 is said to have married
a William Sangston and went to western PA but there is no marriage recorded
in MD for them and have nothing to prove it.

Parker
