Land Records Of SUSSEX COUNTY DELAWARE

7 May 1878. DEED. William ROBINS of Suss Co. shipright for 5 shillings
sold to Daniel HEAVERLO of same co yeoman ... pt/o a 160 a. tr of land in
Broadkiln forrest on Gravely Br which was pattened to a certain Elender
DOBSON by propriator of MD on 20 Dec 1741 bounded by land taken up
by Abraham INGRIM now belonging to the afsd Daniel HEAVELO called
"Bair Garden" ... this tr called the "Finishing Stroak" (sic) which the said
Elender DOBSON did by her will devise to her dau Mary, mother to a certain
Alexander PAIRMORE, who did on 21 Jan 1780 convey all his right of the
land unto William ROBINS party to these presents.
Wit: William CORD (LORD?), Lydia MILLARD.


AGREEMENT: Nathan ADAMS, Sarah HITCH, Robert ELLEGOOD & William
ELLEGOOD have agreed with Thomas ELLEGOOD & by these present
have sold unto the said Thomas ELLEGOOD our right to a warrant of
resurvey granted William ELLEGOOD Senr (now decd) dated at Phila
19 Mar 1776, and the said Thomas ELLEGOOD have paid each of us 3
pounds. Attest:

21 Apr 1796. DEED. William SLAYTON (STAYTON) of Suss Co for [page
torn] money sold to James BUCHANAN a minor son of James BUCHANAN
late of same place decd, paid by a certain Jesse GREEN, guardian to said
minor ... whereas the said William STAYTON in virtue of pattent (sic)
lately obtained hath become seized in a tr of land on Nanticoke River &
Clear Brook Br in NW Fork & Nanticoke Hund ... adj land called Clear Brook,
Philip HUGHES's (sic) called "Joppa, land called "James's Lot," land called
"Mill Landing" and land called "Addition" ... 76 1/2a ... William SLAYTON doth
appoint my trusty friend David HALL esqr atty at law practising in said co
to ackn this deed in open court.
Wit: Tho LAWS, Acahel PHELPS, John LOFLAND. Ackn 21 Apr 179_.
