Good morning list,

Is there anyone who might know were these two tracts of land
would be today. In what town, near what highway, etc.?

In 1870 Thomas WEBSTER sold two tracts of land to two
men from Massachusetts -- "Lloyd's Regulation" & "Hermitage."
The deed goes on to say, "The same land described in a deed from
Thomas WEBSTER, Sr., to said Thomas WEBSTER with privileges of
ingress and egress to the GRAVEYARD containing one quarter of an
acre."
Ref: Caroline County Maryland, Land Records, Book 29, Vol. THK 33,
1868-1870.

I would like to find out were this GRAVEYARD is located in today's
world!

About 20 years ago, I found what had been a cemetery on a
farm in Burnsville, that had belong to Wm WEBBER & his wife
Martha VAULX-VOSS. My cousin who still lives in Burrsville use
to play in this cemetery when she was a young child. The new
land owner named CARTER had desecrated the graves by plowing
them under. I could not take any legal action because the
graveyard never showed up on a deed. Now, I'm wondering is
this the same graveyard?

Thank you very much for any help or suggestions you can give
me.

Happy hunting, Helen (DCGS)
