Thank you Marilyn for all the information.

I may have missed something but generally speaking I am local & I've otherwise put together statistics on the Patton Rumbold line. Last year I met a lady with Rumbold ancestry while doing research at the USGS . She was nice enough to have us to her home, that was in the family, share stories and old photos. We're hoping to see her again soon too.

Last year at a family reunion (not this family group) a relative who shared gg grandparents with me indicated that they had gg grandfathers Journal (1882-1883) as if it wasn't anything interesting. It was very interesting to us and we made a project of transcribing it to disc so it can now be shared with anyone who is interested. This same reunion last week-end turned up a whole file of data, stories, & photos on my gg grandmother's side of the family. A great nephew of hers had put it together, from miles away & years ago, then sent it to our branch for future generations. It had been gathering dust.

These are the kind of things I'm on the hunt for now. You never know whats right under your nose.

Thanks again Patti.
