Hello Cathy,
My Amelia E. Penington/Pennington was born in 1870 in Cecil Co. d/o John
J. Penington/Pennington and Louisa Ellen Rutter Penington/Pennington. Amelia
E. married a Mr. T. Allen Crouch. Amelia E. was the sister of my
grandfather, Alexander Hamilton George Penington/Pennington. This is the
only hook up I have found between Crouch and Penington/Pennington. I found
John J. and Louisa E. on the 1880 Census, Maryland, Cecil Co. , North East,
FHL film 1254507, National Archives film T9-0507, page 161-B.
I have not gotten past John J.'s father, Azarias Pennington. b.1801/02
You never know, if we keep digging, we may find more.
