Hi Helen,
The Alexander and Steel names show up in my collateral line and also
the Alexander name in the Rev War listing I have for Chester Co., PA unit
from the PENNSYLVANIA ARCHIVES, Fifth Series, Vol. V.:
Chester County, PA Lower Oxford Company, Capt David Hays; Alexander
Anderson
Chester County, PA London Brittain Company, Capt Samuel Evans: James
Anderson,Charles Anderson(I didn't copy the last page of this Company,
sorry.)
Also, I have a chart which states that Jane Alexander(father Isaac
Alexander and mother Jane Steele)married William Whann in 1778 New Castle
County, Delaware.
