Hi,
I'm new to the list and would like to hear from anyone who can furnish additional information about Robert Drury who was apparently living in Cecil County in 1728 and before.
I have the following information: I think this Robert Drury was the one who furnished a deposition taken before Casparus Herman in 1792 concerning identification of a frenchman living with Indians at the "head of the bay". There was also a deposition concerning an argument in an Ordinary in1728 which named "an old man named Drury" as being present. In this latter deposition he mentions that he has a family.
I'm trying to find all available information about this man and his family. I believe he may have connections with Drury families in St. Mary's County.
Thanks in advance for anything you can contribute.
Sincerely,
Don Drury
