Looking for anyone who may know of these people.

W. T. Atkinson and Birthie M.(or Bertha M.) Atkinson.

Found an abandon tombstone (never used) in a building in Havre de Grace, with the inscription:

Birthie M. wife of W. T. Atkinson
Jan. 21, 1865
May 25, 1912

The tombstone is granite and shaped like a log. Perhaps the carver placed the incorrect year of birth and a new one had to be made, thus leaving the old one.

There is a William T. Atkinson and wife Bertha on the 1900 census in North East. They had six children. William was listed as a farmer. The children were:

Rowland b/1889
Leroy b/1891
George E. b/1893
Reba b/1892
Mary b/1898
Herbert b/1899

Anyone who may have any knowledge of the above or any suggestions of how or why the tombstone was left unused, please let me know. This stuff drives me crazy

Thanks,
Leta
