There is quite some information regarding a Rev Richard SEWELL in
Johnston's History of Cecil County Maryland, starting on p.209 He arrived
in Cecil cnty in 1697. He married there in 1700 but I don't remember that
his wife's name was given. He was still in Cecil cnty in 1720 when he
unsuccessfully tried to secure 1000 acres of land called Knowlewood for a
parish school for the children of St Stephen's parish.
