Lee, I have some Harrell relatives on my father's side of the family,
connected with the Barwick and Skinner families in Georgia, but the Halls
are on my mother's side. However, there were some marriages between Barwick
descendants and Juniper Hall's sons. The Barwicks came from Maryland around
1650 and moved through Craven NC and Darlington SC to Ga. I didn't know of
any ties to Illinois or Indiana before the DNA came back on Juniper. I have
thought for some time that he had ties to Virginia, however. Carol

Carol,
Thanks for the timely reply! The Hugh Harreld who married the Hall and died
in Illinois or Indiana was the youngest son of a John Harreld who married a
Martha Davis about 1780.. Many people moved to other places with other
relatives and this may be the case with Hugh.. This John Harreld enlisted in
the army in Maryland but it appears he spent some time in Frederick co and
other counties of Va.. We have a large DNA database for the Harrell etc. DNA
project at Family Tree Labs. I have found three matches to mine..
Thanks Again!
