Hi Bev,
Glad you liked the Vanlinden record. Unfortunately, the 1810 census
for Cecil County says there is no location given. Do you have a date
when the family arrived in Darby --or did yours go elsewhere?

Thanks. Do you happen to know who were the parents of this John
WOOD? I am still looking for my Thomas WOOD's parents, and also if
they had other children besides my ancestor. According to my
grandmother's family records, Thomas WOOD married Elizabeth Lloyd (or
Floyd) and their daughter Sarah, born 1785 in Middletown, Delaware,
married Thomas Bellville in 1810. Sarah and Thomas Bellville are
buried at Old Drawyer's Church in New Castle County, but we have
families living very close to the state line on both sides, and I
wonder if her family had lived just over the border in Cecil County.
Plus I have other Woods nearby who are also parent-less so far.
Thanks again & good luck,
Liz J
