Liz,
In the information that you posted to the list recently on the Jonas
Chambers land plats, you included some information on Rowland Chambers.
Well, like a dunce, it's taken me this long to figure out that your
description of land deeds that Rowland witnessed, "near where his own
properties were", sounds remarkably like the location of Jonas's land -
between the two branchs of the Elk River. I've also learned that Priscilla
Jones Chambers' family lived in this area, which is around where the village
of Childs is located. I also think the Principio land from Pricilla's land
deed was part of the Jones family property.

Can anyone tell me more about this Rowland Chambers? Exactly who was he,
when and where born, who his parents/wife/chidren were?
