Subject: [MDCECIL] David John b 1712 Delaware, d 1764 Burke Co Ga

While on the John surname, this David John (or Jones) was in Burke Co Ga by
1754 and died there in Nov 1764, about 25 years before my Jonas Chambers of
Cecil Co Md moved to Burke Co Ga with his family in 1789. This David John
was born abt 1723 in Pencader Hundred, New Castle, Del. Ever since I
learned that Jonas Chambers' mother was Mary John, sister of a David John of
Cecil Md, I have wondered if this John family of early Burke Co Ga might
have been related.
