30 Feb. 1735 John PERRY of Pencader Hd and wf Sarah sold for 129
pounds, to David JONES of the same place, yeoman, a tract of
land/plantation now in possession of the PERRYs. Bounds land of Howell
JAMES, James READ, David EVANS and John PORTER --cont. 209 acres.
--part of the 30,000-acre Welsh Tract granted to William Davis & David
Evans by Wm Penn in 1701.
--Davis & Evans conveyed 209a to Thomas Watson; Watson conveyed to
Richard SEREN (who d. intestate) --Sarah SEREN, alias PERRY became

14 May 1736. Elizabeth SEREY, late of Pencader Hd., widow & Admin of
Richard SEREY dcd for a consideration "have set over unto John PERRY,
my son-in-law, the Administration of all the Estate of my late Husband
...reserved unto myself the Dower of three pounds per annum... in lieu
of my third..." Whereas John PERRY hath lately granted a plantation
unto David JONES of Pencader Hd. yeoman, under the sd yearly pymt of 3
pounds per annum, to me, I Elizabeth SEREY fior the sum of 20 pounds
from sd David JONES, quit claim & grant unto him... plantation.

14 Aug 1738. John ALLEN of Co. of New Castle, fuller, for 120 pounds,
sold to David JONES of sd place, yeoman, tract called Northampton,
sit. on north side of Christiana Creek. Cont. 200 acres, buildings,
improvements. signed John ALLEN, wits John GRIFFITH, Josiah LEWDEN,

2 Aug. 1738. Release. Christian & Samuel LAND of co of New Castle,
heirs of Francis LAND, dcd for £71.19.6 release to paid by John ALLEN
and his assign David JONES, release unto sd ALLEN all right & title to
tract sit. on north side of Christiana Creek. Cont. 200 acres, called
Northampton. This is prop. that John ALLEN of sd co, yeoman & his wife
Agnes, by deed dated 13 July 1731, for £71.19.6 sold unto Francis

and Esther LEWIS of Pencader Hd in NCC for 23 pounds sold to benjamin
ELDER of Mill Creek Hd in sd Co., their share of messuage tract cont
150 acres sit. in Pencader hd. Formerly belonged to david THOMAS
dcd... by THOMAS' Last Will, 3/4 of sd Messuage tract was made over to
afsd Joshua WILD, Nathaniel WILD & Esther LEWIS. Bounds land of John
ENGLAND, dcd David JONES, John EVANS dcd, benjamin COOKE and Joseph
BROWN. Signed Ruth WILD, Esther LEWIS. Wits John GRIFFITH, Thos JAMES

There is no David JOHN record in these two books.

David JONES name does not appear in _Abstracts of Cecil County Land
Records 1673-1751 (June D Brown).
