Dear List Members,
In view of recent events I think it necessary to state a few simple
guidelines regarding participation on the Charles County Discussion List.
First and foremost this is a discussion list. That being the case there are
likely to be opposing or differing views regarding certain subjects or
information posted to the list by some members. I would ask everyone to keep
in mind the fact that we would not be subscribed to this list if we were not
seeking information. So, please keep an open mind when someone puts
information
out on the list for all to see. If we start throwing stones at everyone who
dares share their research with the list we will soon find the list
withering
on the vine. The person you offend here on the list may be that distant
cousin
that holds the key that opens the door allowing you to break through that
brick wall in your research. Having said that I must state that there is no
room
on this list for personal conflict. If you have issue with someone email
them
privately. This has been a well behaved and productive discussion list and I
have enjoyed being a subscriber as well as the list owner for sometime now.


Rule-1 Have fun but not at the expense of others.

Rule-2 No flaming. If you have a problem with someone keep it off the list.
Email them privately. Sanctions will be imposed on anyone who
repeatedly
engages in the practice of flaming.
