I'm a new subscriber to the list and am wondering if anyone in the area is working on the Kennady/Kennedy/Cannady or Dyson lines. This would be in the 1700 time period. My John Kennady named his fourth son John DYSON Kennedy. We do not know the name of John's wife so there is a possibility that she was a DYSON. The name John Dyson Kennedy was handed down for several generations.

John Kennady was born between 1735 and 1742 place unknown, but his first son Charles was born in NJ in 1763, next 3 sons Peter, Moses and John Dyson Kennedy all born in PA, then family was in Washington Co., MD in 1777. His first wife died there and he married Elizabeth Countryman and the family moved to Nelson Co., KY where John Kennady died in 1802

John Kennedy must have been related or a very close person friend of a John Dyson. We do not know where John Kennedy lived before being in NJ when his first son was born, but it must have been in an area close to a John Dyson.

Can anyone help, or suggest where I could look now. Thanks so much Betty Sewell
