Hi Folks......

Looking for some info on the Charles Co fair queen. She used to be Queen
Nicotina but I suspect that name has been changed. Who was the first queen?
When? Who was the last? When? What is her title now?

I am to preside at the 70th birthday celebration of my sister, Mary Virginia
Matthews, who was crowned Queen Nicotina XII (?) by - who else - congressman
Strom Thermon in 1948, give or take a year. Any information on this
tradition would be most appreciated to give me some roasting points.....
