Sorry, I didn't mean to start something there. We do need to know exactly where geographically these churches/parishes were, and I believe knowing what our ancestors' religions were can be a clue to family structures. I sure hope so - I have HARBINS of both faiths and using the same names and am trying my darndest to figure out which ones had which kids.
Anyhow, now I would like to know where Old Branford Enlarged was located - does anyone know? Also since Boarman's Manor was in and around Bryantown & St. Mary's, I assume Kinderhook, which was across from St. Mary's, was once part of Boarman's Manor. Right? So, carrying it further, once you bought a part of Boarman's (or any big piece), you apparently were free to rename it any darn thing you pleased. Right? Does anyone know where Hard Fortune was? Were the lands of Trinity Parish (civil & religious) also part of Boarman's Manor holdings?
Going in the other direction (my HARBINS seemed to be in Bryantown and in the Port Tobacco area) what would the major original holdings be called over there? What were some of the minor holdings that came out of them?
