Subject: [MDCHARLE-L] Edelin, and Clements.

It sure has been a pleasure reading all the messages the past few days about
church history, persecution, etc. That's what makes this genealogy stuff so
interesting.
I have reviewed these messages over the past several months hoping that
someday I will find someone who is interested in my ancestors, who I believe
(but have yet to prove) were the descendants of John Clements, who apparently
was in the area by 1679. My problem is finding the parents of one Henry
Clements, a pioneer who arrived in Casey County, KY in 1802 with several
families from St. Mary's Bryantown.
But, on to the reason for my message -- directed primarily to those of you
interested in the Edelin name. Have you ever heard of Vivian Edelin of St.
Mary's parish. I got her name when I visited the church office last year.
She has apparently done considerable research on her late husband's
genealogy.
I spoke to Vivian, hoping to find some information that would provide me a
breakthrough. No luck. But you will find her a delight to "meet."
Hopefully, she is still as lively at 85 as I found her at 84. Phone number
is 301-274-3387.
If you have any interest in Clements, please let me hear from you at
