Hello,
My people are all from Southern Maryland, Pr. Gg, and Charles
Counties to be exact (my fathe's side of the family is at least). Although I
am of no kin to the Bowlings and I don't know anything about the Bowlings,
my 2nd cousin in Waldorf, Md. is married to a Bowling. If I am not mistaken
he (Lee Bowling) knows something of his family history. I have forwarded
your query to his in-laws, Donald and Anne Tubman Gardiner. Anne's mom's
maiden name was Marguarite Berry, sister to my grandmother Eloise Gilmore
Berry (Mrs. David Middleton Edelen). Anyway, Donald and/or Anne will give
your query to Lee Bowling. Perhaps he can help you. I hope this helps a
little.
Sincerely,
David Middleton Edelen II
