He owned it when his will was written (see below) which was 23 years before
1732. I found this in the archives:
Swann Hill and Dyson's Chance were located on what is now DuBois Road in
Charles County. Swann Hill was orginally part of Eagleton Plantation
granted to Edward Swann in 1664. Dyson's Chance may have been part of
Eagleton Plantation also. Eagleton Plantation was 1200 acres. Swanns
lived on part of this orginal plantation until the 1960's and Dyson's
still live on property nearby.
