I believe it has been proven to be Barbara Tennison and not Scott. Did not mean to mislead anyone. Just mentioning why this person may have had it on their website.

My guess for the reason they have Oliver's wife as Barbara Scott would be because there is a plaque in memory of them both. It reads:
To The Glory of God
And
In Memory of
Oliver Burch
1646-1729
of King and Queen Parish
And his wife
Barbara Scott Burch
Communicants of
Old Newport Church
This is all the info. I have about this.

Beware!!
They have Oliver Burche's wife listed as a SCOTT.
She is a Tennison...
So now I'm skeptical of the other information on the site.

information that Patricia Bishop Obrist supplied, I've found that
that is wrong. Abigail was not a COTTRELL, she is a DEMENT, daughter
of George Dement, d ca 1703; and wife Mary Tennison of Charles Co.,
MD.

1722 names his nephew/godson James s/o Thomas Swann in his will [see

we see she was deceased. He did however name his sister Ann who was
living and her husband.
