The descendants of the families among those who migrated to Kentucky as
mentioned by Gary have a reunion either every year or every couple of years.
They generally trade off and have the reunion here in Maryland one year and
Kentucky the next. That migration occurred in the late 1700's following the
Revolution I believe.

My educated guess is that Catholics would not have left Maryland after the

would they go?

A partial answer to that question-----Some Catholics migrated from St. Mary
& Charles Counties to the general area of Washington Co., KY., form there
some of them later migrated to Owensboro, Daviess Co., KY., then some of
those folks migrated to Graves Co., KY and founded the community of Fancy
Farm which still exists as a predominantly Catholic community. There may
have been migrations to other places, but it is my understanding that the
above mentioned migrations occurred. Don't know what caused the migration
though.
