Henry Brent whose inventory was presented in Charles Co in 1769 shows the
"next of kin" as Henrietta Pye and Ann Pye. Someone suggested this was mother
and daughter, but since Henrietta Pye's daughter, Ann, was not born until 31
Jan 1765, this can be ruled out. I believe the next of kin was Henrietta's
sister Ann. Both were daughters of Walter and Margaret Tant Pye as Janet
Reno has shown in her research.

Henry Brent was a young man, son of William and Jane (Pye) Brent. Jane Pye
was another daughter of Walter and Margaret Tant Pye. Therefore, the next
of kin on Henry Brent's inventory would seem to me to be his Aunts.

Does anyone disagree with this alignment? Thanks.
