Well, maybe that doesn't work (Dr. Andrews marrying Peter Cartwright's widow).
This might be relevant.

p. 22, TLC Genealogy, Prince George's Land Record Book BB#1; Page 95. Feb 13,
1743/44 from Esther Offut of PG, widow, to Ephraim Andrews of PG, Doctor of
Physick, for 5 shillings and for 20 £ sterling secured to be paid by sd Ephraim
Andrews to each of the 7 children of her, the sd Esther Offut, when they shall
successively arrive to the age of 21 years, and also for divers other good
causes, sd Esther Offut has sold to sd Ephraim Andrews, all her now dwelling
plantation & the land adjoining thereto, being 500 acres, and also 150 acres on
Rock Cr, which was devised to her, sd Esther Offutt and her heirs, by the will
of her late husband, John Offut. Signed - Esther Offutt, Ephraim Andrews. Wit -
H Darnall, Arnold Livers, Henry Darnall Jr, Richard Keene*, Jo Belt Jr*.
Recorded Feb 14, 1743/44.
