Subject: Anne (Thompson) Taylor Turberville Mason d. 1762.

I am still trying to find the identity of my ancestor, Ann "Nancy" Speake of
Charles County. Tradition says she was the daughter of John and Ann (Taylor)
Speake.
I recently received copies of the correspondence of the researcher who
originally identified Ann as above, and identified John Speake's wife as Ann
Taylor. The researcher was trying to prove that Ann Taylor was the daughter of
Robert Taylor. I have inferred it was because George Mason bought all of John
Speake's land after his death. The dates don't work for the following Robert
Taylor to be the parent.
I have made this scenario for Anne Thompson, wife of George Mason (1690-1735).
First husband Robert Taylor, because he was identified as such in the will of
her second husband, Payne Turberville. I couldn't find any documents for her
first husband. Maybe in Virginia.
