I have one of those obits. Here it is:
William Merrill Fergusson, 82, of Welcome. William Merrill Fergusson,
82, of Welcome died Jan 14, 1994. He was a farmer. He was a director
of the Maryland Tobacco Growers Association from 1961-1976, and a member
of the Charles County Farm Bureau. He served on the Charles County
Welfare Board. Before and during World War II, he worked at the Naval
Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head
Born Aug 8, 1911, in Welcome, he was the son of the late William
Fergusson and the late Elizabeth Rose Roberts Fergusson.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor L. Jones Fergusson; daughters, Carol
Harris of Sarasota, Fla, Suzanne Edelen of La Plata, and Virginia Fuese
of Welcome; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held Jan 18 at St. Ignatius Church, Chapel Point. The
Rev. Sal Jordon officiated. Interment took place at the church
cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Fuese, Noel Edelen, Phillip Harris,
Walter "Dick" Harrigan, James Gullett and William Squeeky" Harrison.
Arrangements were provided by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata.

The Ferguson DNA project is trying to locate obituaries for the following two men. Does anyone know what paper would likely have carried these obituaries? They are not indexed on Ancestry.com; this info comes from the SS Death Index. Thanks for any help you can provide.
