Jamie, I am having trouble again with the mailing lists not showing my
messages. I sent this at 8:41 am my time, and it is now 1:42 pm and it still
hasn't showed up.

Depends on what you consider proof (grin). No marriage record. She is named
as Samuel's mother in depositions and the land records:

Maryland Genealogical Society Bulletin; Winter 1993 Vol 34 No 1; Charles
County Depositions by Robert W. Barnes; Continued from vol. 33, no 4, p. 693
HANSON, Samuel, age 39, 1 Oct. 1744, son of Robert and Benedicta (Hoskins)
Hanson; CHLR 1744-1745 40:189. [maiden name in parenthesis added by the
abstractor.]

p. 44, TLC Genealogy, Charles County Land Records, 1722-1729; Book L#2
Page 199. Samuel Hanson, son of Robert and Benedicta Hanson, was born Dec 6,
1705.

Mary had her own probate as 'Mary Hoskins' 15 Jun 1718. Her half-sister Mary
Ann "Hoskins" is listed as the recipient of her share of the estate, and
several more of the estates of her sibling and parents.
