Does anyone have any information on the Good (Goode) family.
In the 1850 census, I have Benjamin Goode with wife Elizabeth with children:
Roswell, son, b. @ 1825
Elizabeth Adeline, dau, b. @ 1833
Sarah J, dau born @ 1834
Felicity, dau, born @ 1836
Charlotte, dau, born @ 1838
John, son, born @ 1839
Melinda, son, born @ 1844
Camilla, son, born @ 1846
George H. Goode, son @1849
I am looking for more information on George H. Goode. Who he married?
What happened to him. I have heard that this George Goode drowned but I
don't know what source there is for this information
I am trying to find out the family of George H. Goode who moved from
Southern Maryland to Seneca MD area and was living with his older
brother and his wife in 1880 census. Good, Ro??e, age 60, wife Mary,
35, and brother George, 29 brother. These dates are around the ages of
Roswell Goode and brother George H. I can't find any other George Goode
in southern maryland that may be a match.
I have a death certificate for George H. Goode of Seneca which indicates
he was born September 13, 1851 and died August 13, 1920. His tombstone
says 1850-1920. It says his father was Benjamin Good born in MD, mother
unknown. He was a day laborer on the C&O Canel. Family members indicate
he was from southern maryland. His wife was from southern maryland but
had moved to Seneca area and married. She married George after the
death of her 1st husband.
Does anyone have any information on George H. Goode that might be a lead.
