Hello,
Trying a 'round about approach' to finding info on my GG GF BENJAMIN
JONES b April 12, 1840 in NJ.
I can't seem to locate him on any NJ census tat i have been able to
access so far.
Scanning through the 1880 Dorchester Co. Census i found in same
district. (Fork District #1):
JONES, DAVID W. b c 1837 in NJ. he and parents born NJ)
MARY E. b c 1846
Chidren:
MARTHA A. b c 1866
JOHN W. b c 1870
MONTGOMERY b c 1873
DAVID H. b c 1876

Couldn't find any male Jones marriages that may connect to this family
but did find a marriage for a MARTHA that fits the dates/ages.

McAllister, D. F. age 23, W, S, gentleman, m: MARTHA A. JONES, age 18,
white, single, on 25 March 1884, Cambridge, by Rev E. D. Barnett

Both DAVID W. JONES and BENJAMIN JONES were both born in NJ and their
parents were born in NJ.

They are the only NJ born JONES i have come across so far, lived in the
same district. One is in household 138, the other in 156.
