Thank you for chatting about Church Creek in general. In case anyone else
is reading on this open site, however, we need to clarify that the brother
of Herman was Howard, not Harold, and that Herman had two sons, Bobby and
John, who still lives in Church Creek in the house where the motorized
bicycle repair business was. Bobby is now in Fla., says John. Herman's
wife was Vada Mae (or Vada May) Slider from West Virginia and Howard's
wife was Emma Marie Travers. Another brother was Donald, father of the
Donald who now lives in Cambridge with his wife, the former Norma Ruark.
There were other siblings I hope to name soon. Their parents were Ada Lee
and Goward, who lived in a house facing Golden Hill road, since demolished.
I have dates if anyone gets in touch.
