I have noticed that several list members have mentioned the BEALL family in
the past week. I hope you took advantage of the link to the Washington D.
C. land information which was posted in the past few days as a portion of
Ninian Beall's land was used for the area where the White House now stands.

Several members of the BEALL family settled in Frederick County or were
there when the county was formed. The original immigrant for many of the
BEALL families in Maryland was Ninian BEALL, who established himself in
Prince George's County. You might want to join the list for that county as
well as this one. Click on the link
and type the ONE word, SUBSCRIBE in the
body of the message.

There is also a very nice historical piece from 1976, by Ruth Beall
Gelders, about Ninian BEALL at this webpage
http://www.geocities.com/Athens/5568/ninian1.html

None of the posts which mentioned the name BEALL, gave any information on
who they were looking for. Without knowing who your ancestor is, there is
no way to determine if we can help you. Jump right in and tell us who your
ancestor is and who he married with approximate dates and his children too.
You may be surprised at how many responses you get. If it doesn't work this
time, try again next month. It won't happen in a day. Genealogy is a
process. Sometimes it takes a long time. Personally, I find that it takes
forever.
