Hi Emily,
I have Frederick Co. MUSSETTER, and would be happy to help you with that
surname. I descend from Christian Mussetter, Sr., b. abt. 1748 in Germany.
The Mussetters settled in Frederick Co. just north of Ijamsville, along
present-day (surprise) Mussetter Road. You may email me off-list with the
names you're working on. A good source is
Hodge, Lois L. R. "Mussetter and Related Families." Good luck finding it in
Oregon. If you make it to Frederick Co., there is a copy of the 1968 edition
in the collection of the Maryland Room at the C. Burr Artz Lib. The copy at
the Lib. of Congress is more recent, however (1976), and contains additional
research.

I have just started my search for: Himbury , Hooper, Summers, Palmer,
Mussetter, and Flanigan. I have some Flanigan information that came from
Williams History of Frederick. Maryland.I would appreciate any suggestions
or information.
