Dear List,
I know this is a little off geographically, but I wanted to see if
anyone on this list knows about a church just south of Boonsboro. I found it
on a 1795 map of Maryland at the Library of Congress site. Just south of
Margaretsville (which became Boonsboro) was a symbol for a church and the
word Boons. I'm researching the Boone families in western Maryland, and
would like to find out more about this church. If anyone has any information
about it, please contact me at the address above.
