On February 6, 1851, a public meeting of Wolfsville
area residents was held to consider the formation of a
new county.

On February 6, 1865, the actions of Francis M. Smith,
a Frederick native, at the Battle of Dabney's Mill, VA,
garnered him a Congressional Medal of Honor.

On February 6, 1985, a contract was awarded for the
conversion of the 1862 Frederick County Courthouse
into Frederick City Hall.
