My Mackall family referred to the Point of Rocks in the 1770s, so it must
have been a local name. I think perhaps the name might have been Trammels
Town as they were a prominent family there early on, and James Mackall
married Mehalia Trammel as his second wife d/of John Trammell. What to you
think?
