While you are out and about this weekend taking part in holiday
festivities, I encourage you to stop by the C. Burr Artz Central Branch,
Frederick County Public Libraries and take a look at the microfilm
reader\printers that we are "test-driving" until Monday. We will be
purchasing new readers, both for the Maryland Room and the general
reference collection, for the renovated Patrick Street building. We are
test-driving two models, a "high-end" and a "low-end". We would be very
interested in knowing what you think about them. If you do stop by, either
tell one of the librarians at the reference desk what you think of them,
leave a note for me expressing your opinions, or e-mail me. Again, we
will have them until Monday, probably Monday afternoon. So stop and by
and take a look! Thanks for you time and interest.

Mary Mannix

PS Directions to the C. Burr Artz temporary location can be found at
www.fcpl.org. The address is 5340 Spectrum Drive, conveniently located
near the FSK Mall. The library is open today, Friday, until 5pm.
Saturday the hours are 10am - 5 pm and Sunday 1pm - 5pm.
